Mr. Daud Vicary Abdullah

Daud Vicary Abdullah is the Managing Director of DVA Consulting, an Islamic Finance Advisory, and an Advisor to the Directors at the Responsible Finance and Investment (RFI) Foundation, C.I.C. He is the former President and CEO of INCEIF-The Global University of Islamic Finance, the former Global Leader for Islamic Finance at Deloitte and is the former CEO of two start up Islamic Banks in Malaysia.

In “retirement” he focuses on using his experience to support SRI and SDG initiatives and young entrepreneurs. He chairs the Advisory Board at IslamicMarkets.com. He is a member of the Board of Trustees at the OtherDOTS Foundation. He chairs the Board at Ethis Global, is a non-executive Director at both Finalytix Inc., and Fasset Labuan, and is a founding Trustee at Gateway Global. He graduated from Bristol University with BSc (Econ) in Economic and Social History. Is a CPIF (Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance) and a FCPA (Fellow of CPA Australia).
