Founding Executive Director of the UN Global Compact to Deliver Keynote Address for upcoming Responsible Finance Summit
RFI Foundation, organizer of the Responsible Finance Summit is excited to announce that that Georg Kell, the founding Executive Director of the UN Global Compact, will deliver a keynote speech to the global responsible finance community in March.
Mr. Kell helped establish the Global Compact as the foremost platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible and sustainable corporate policies and practices. Mr. Kell is currently the Vice Chairman of Arabesque Partners, an Anglo-German asset management firm offering a quantitative approach to sustainable investing.
The decades of experience in responsible finance that Mr. Kell brings to the Summit perfectly aligns with its premise that Islamic finance and responsible finance ecosystems are based on shared principles. The Summit will bring together the industry, regulators, and other stakeholders to expand the footprint of responsible finance within emerging markets. These diverse stakeholders will come together to explore ways to better integrate Islamic finance to lead growth of the global responsible finance industry within these markets.
